School Careers Events

Senior Information Evening

Senior information evening was a spectacular success with many students able to ask questions and take steps towards a pathway plan. The external organisations generally felt that it was a worthwhile experience and the school departments were able to explain their courses and what area they can open up to students. Please feel free to email me and arrange a Career and Transitions Pathways Planning Meeting with me for early next term. Thank you to all students and families who came a long and supported the evening and their futures.

At the bottom of this NewsFeed there is a link to the UAC Super Edition News Letter. All students who hope to go to University should read this completely before a Career and Transitions Pathways Planning Meeting.

Thank you again to the Pathways to Work and Learning students in year 10 for the set up of the evening.

Mr Stewart

MedEntry UCAT Workshop
Event Type : Event
Date : 1st Jun 2019
Time : 9 am to 4 pm for two days
Venue : UTS
Target Group : Students - Year 11, Students - Year 12, Careers Advisers, Parents
Cost : 395

Contact Name : Edward Boyapati

Contact Details : ed.boyapati@gmail.com

The entry test for medicine, UCAT (University Clinical Assessment Test) is a computer-based test and comprises five sections: verbal reasoning, decision making, quantitative reasoning, abstract reasoning and situational judgement. The two day MedEntry workshop will detail the strategies to ace the UCAT. You will be taught by specialist doctors and academics.

MedEntry has been preparing students for tests such as UCAT for the last 25 years, and we are the clear leaders in medical entry in Australia, New Zealand and Ireland. We have engineered a replica UCAT computer platform that precisely simulates the live UCAT environment. Our students will be able to practice with drills, questions banks and timed exams (providing percentile ranking on each exam, subtest and question type), putting them at a significant competitive advantage. There is a lot of misinformation around about the UCAT - it is important to seek out information from trusted sources such as MedEntry.

We offer our own independently created questions (by our expert item designers and validated by psychometricians) and do not use any external company's resources (as is the case with other Prep companies). Since we teach using the resources we create, there is authenticity, alignment, relevance, passion and value in what we do. Further, since the simulated computer platform has been created by us, we can provide authentic advice on the best way to take advantage of this resource.

We offer a Quality Guarantee: MedEntry has higher and more ratings on Google and Facebook than any educational institution.
